Marcy’s and Morsels are both restaurants with M
names. They also happen to be Restaurants of the
Months July and August, but that’s not the only
thing that makes them stand out. Both restaurants
are located in areas that start off with the letter
D (Duxton and Dempsey). Both restaurants have
chefs that happen to be visionaries (Chef Ryan Nile
Choo for Marcy’s and Chef Petrina Loh for Morsels).
And both restaurants have chefs who happen to
be recipients at the World Gourmet Awards 2022
(Halton Chef of the Year (Male) and (Female).

And it helps that both restaurants are not pigeon-
holed in any cuisine that may curb any creativity
issues. Both restaurants happen to be full of
creativity. When asked by Head Chef Choo on what
makes Marcy’s amazing, he makes it simple. “We
want people to feel as though they can come to a
nice place without having to break the bank. The
whole idea of Marcy’s is that people can come in to
a place like this to relax without having to break the
bank.” And Marcy’s whole aesthetic is something
that throws you back into an old world setting,
which translates romantic elements into
