Spanish Extravaganza, On Your Reality TV Screens!
For those who enjoy a great tv series with dramatic adventures and great food, a new gastronomic TV Reality show, for Rakuten TV, has been developed detailing the adventures and misfortunes of the Spanish Extravaganza World Tour.
The show, titled,'Spanish Extravaganza' is an 8-part gastronomic entertainment series that not only presents the reality tv competition format in an exhilarating, exciting format, but also showcases the trials and reationships between chefs, sommeliers, and their local assistants in their work to present the best of Spanish cuisine to an international audience.
In each 40 minute episode, four renowned chefs and a Spanish sommelier travel to a different country to share the extraordinary quality and diversity of Spanish gastronomy, through traditional and innovative recipes, with a distinguished group of diners. Each of the Spanish chefs will be featuring an assistant chef from the country of the week that is not familiar with Spanish cuisine and, with them working together, each team will be competing among their colleagues for a blind tasting final, judged by a panel of experts, including a well-known local chef who is invited on each episode to teach the Spanish chefs more about the culture gastronomy of the country visited.

The Spanish chefs and sommelier that will be at the center of the television series include Chef Maca de Castro, Chef Ignacio Solana, Chef Ager Urigüen Biscayan, Chef Santi Louzan and Sommelier Alejandro Paadin, all who hail from different parts of Spain, with different working experiences in specific parts of the world. These chefs, some with Michelin-stars, are experts in different aspects of Spanish cuisine, showing how different and wonderful certain regions of Spain are to an audience that may not understand the full scope of the cuisine.
Spanish Extravaganza is touted to be a show that showcases, in real life, the relationships of renowned chefs that work in the kitchen, how they interact and explore the country of the week, the tension of competition between differently skilled chefs that may or may not be disadvantaged by the knowledge and skillset of the local chefs assistants in question, and the cameraderie of the chefs whose main goal is solely to produce great food, and introduce the cuisine and culture to the local masses. It's a positive and good-humored way show that shows the great unifier of what draws people together: great food and great wine.
