Otterly Fun At The Orchard Hotel Singapore this December!
Orchard Hotel Singapore is launching a staycation based on one of Singapore most recent fascinations and adorable wildlife creatures: the Otter.
The Otter Family Christmas Adventure will be launched by Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR), and will be a great addition to the number of staycations available from the hotel group. And, if it helps you make your decision, for every package purchased for this Christmas, $20 will go to the Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, a charity devoted to helping needy kids. $10 per package will go to the yearlong charity program afterwards.
Orchard Hotel Singapore launched this on Tuesday by presenting three recipeients of the Straits Times School Pocket Monkey Fund with otter plushies and Christmas gift hampers by Mr Lee Richards, general manager of Orchard Hotel Singapore.
Mr Richards, who is also MHR's vice-president of South-east Asia operations, said the otter theme was chosen as the animal is family-oriented. "This year, everybody wants family around them," he added.
Ms Tan Bee Heong, general manager of the STSPMF, said: "We are glad to celebrate Christmas this year with a very meaningful initiative as more funds are needed for our students from low-income families."
Packages for this staycation start from $498 per night, and includes breakfast for up to two adults and two children, $100 F&B Credits, a welcome kit tailored for kids as well as otter plush toys, Christmas goodies, as well as other otter relaunched merchandise like the otter travel adventure planner!
