It is honestly the first time in forever to actually hear a draft beer attempting such a flavour. Archipelago Brewery is launching a new tea infused beer, featuring a light bodied and crisp on the finish, this seasonal limited edition Yuzucha Beer is a perfect balance of aromas and flavours. Falling into the category of Kölsch, the Yuzucha Beer has low hop flavours and slightlly more prominent sweet citrusy Yuzu notes with a distinct yet subtle tea finish. In making this special beer, the beer was fermented at a lower temperature and the tea and Yuzu were added into the beer, "tea-bag" style during the conditioning process where the flavours are infused into the beer. This innovative brew was made possible all thanks to Gryphon Tea Company where the tea specialist assisted in identifying the appropriate tea and flavours. This limited edition of Yuzucha Beer is only made available at Archipelago Brewery concept outlets and featured during the Beer Fest Asia. So, watch out for this giant bottle of flavours!
