If Music Be The Food Of The Gods

If Music Be The Food Of The Gods Here’s a question: is music really the food of the gods? Krug believes that it can be. The legendary House of Krug has long understood the influence of sound on taste perception and has found ways to build on the notion of food pairing and translating this idea into music. Inviting artists to translate their perception of the new Édition of Krug Grande Cuvée into music, this year, the Krug Echoes Act 1 experience is curated by the multi-talented composer and Krug Lover, Ozark Henry.

The Belgian musician, composer and pioneer of 3D music is guided by the desire to put the listener at the heart of the musical experience. The specially composed piece explores the act of creation of Krug Grande Cuvée 170ème Édition, from the Cellar Master Julie Cavil’s inspiration to the final performance of 195 highly talented musicians. To celebrate this collaboration, guests got to try the Krug Grande Cuvee 170ème Édition with music thanks to the Krug Echoes experience, which invites Krug Lovers to enter an intimate spacetime guiding guests with dreamy images invoked by sounds and echoes in collaboration with French audio technology company, Devialet.

This was held at the Devialet Showroom at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, and invited guests in the media got to try the champagne alongside a pair of bespoke Devialet ‘Gemini’ Earbards in an isothermal case inspired by the carrying case for Devialet’s iconic Phantom speaker. These Devialet ‘Gemini’ Earbuds are a tailor-made limited-edition series with Krug to enable Krug lovers to live the luxurious Krug Echoes experience from anywhere in the world and at the comfort of home in ground-breaking 8D audio technology through a QR code that gives access to the Krug Studio experience.

The Krug | Devialet Limited Edition Case retails for S$898.00 only at Moomba.
