Ryan's Grocery's Rainbow Burger the Key to Charitable Contribution at Rainbow Centre
When we discuss the special needs community, we don’t just talk about the importance of developing their skills and abilities, but also making sure they receive the resources available to help them do so.
Ryan’s Grocery, known as a ‘Grocer with a Cause’, has been a part of the special needs community every year for the last 5 years, supporting non-profit organizations, like the Association for Persons with Special Needs (APSN), St. Andrew’s Autism Centre and Rainbow Centre.
This year, the Ryan’s Grocery team are championing another initiative to raise funds for the Rainbow Centre. As April is designated as Autism Awareness Month, Ryan’s Grocery and Ryan’s Kitchen will donate proceeds from the sales of their Rainbow Burger. Made using the vEEF Patty, cheese, tomato relish, Romaine lettuce, and eggless mayo, this plant-based burger will be priced at $10.90 each, and the patties are halal-certified. The annual fundraising event for the awareness of autism will run from 1 to 12 April 2021.
The burgers can be
purchased here and they can be bought for the employees at Rainbow Centre, or for your friends, family and colleagues!.
