& butter pudding in the world!”, this
was also echoed by guests of ‘Taste the
Dream’ on-board Genting Dream cruise.
Along with the bread & butter pudding,
Chef McGrady also served dishes such
as Queen Elizabeth’s favourite gaelic
steak, supreme of halibut Queen
Victoria, and the smoked bell pepper
& tomato soup – all of which tells a
heart-warming story of the Royal family.
Along with the dishes, Chef McGrady
reminisced of fond memories during his
time at Buckingham palace. Guests will
not only have the opportunity to eat
like royalty, but also relive the myriad of
experiences that the Royal Family had.
Cooking on board Genting Dream presents
a new environment for the experienced
Chef McGrady. “The kitchen on board
boasts several luxurious equipment
like blast chillers, blast coolers and an
amazing team,” Chef McGrady elaborates,
“what is very different on board, Her
Majesty preferred to use indigenous
ingredients which are sourced locally
from the UK, but here on Genting Dream,
the team is very dedicated in making
the dishes as authentic as possible and
therefore are sourcing for them as well.”
After being Queen Elizabeth’s private
chef for 11 years, Chef McGrady became
the private chef of Princess Diana, and
prepared the day-to-day meals of Princess Diana,
