Hawker centers are part of most Singaporean’s daily life. Restaurants are usually treats and not an everyday thing for the majority of Singaporeans. It’s frightening to think that one day that our favorite local food stalls will just disappear. Rising costs, lack in profits and long hours have made many give up their small businesses.
