13 notable chefs from Singapore’s top restaurants will come together for the first time ever to present a gastronomical experience in hope of raising $50,000 in support of The Children’s Cancer foundation (CCF). The initiative is spearheaded by Chef Jimmy Chok from JC concept and 12 of his counterparts have joined in to support his quest to raise the money for CCF which supports up to 2000 children and their families at different stages of the illness.
The chefs will be preparing their signature dishes that they specially designed for the Chefs for a Cause 2014 event. More than 35 delicately prepared creations will be served. Guests will get to savor platinum plates such as urchin chawan mushi and salt crusted striploin to local delights such as Chef Ivan Lim’s famous Laksa. Diners will also be able to enjoy the opportunity to rub shoulders with their favorite local chefs. This event is fully organized by volunteers and supported by generous sponsors.
Tickets for Chef for a Cause 2014 are priced at S$150 each. Interested donors/diners can purchase the tickets by visiting
