Restaurants blame cellphones

This should be a pretty normal scene as one walks into a restaurant (not just in NYC but in any part of the world). Guests fumbling with their phones, snapping pictures of the ordered dishes and the restaurant. For most this maybe an everyday sight but this was not the case years back. In this present day and age, cellphones are the MAJOR distractions in restaurants. The obsessive use of it has caused a drastic increase in the amount of time it takes to be served. Research has shown that the average time that customers stays in the restaurant has doubled since 10 years ago.
