Local Female Chef Heads New Restaurant at Raffles Hotel

Ujong @ Raffles is a relatively new restaurant to set new standards in Raffles Hotel, Singapore with a menu showcasing local favourites with a twist. However, the main selling point should be Executive Chef, Shen Tan! Chef Tan is not only a local chef, but a female chef as well with humble beginnings. A self-taught chef who started her career as a food hawker and later to her own eatery at Duxton Hill, Chef Tan has finally made a breakthrough to become the executive chef at Ujong @ Raffles! Some of the dishes in the menu include Hae Bee Hiam Mentaiko Capellini, Claypot Rice with Five-Spiced Pork, and more! We’ll let you know more of this when we try her cooking!
