This has been an ongoing issue in many parts of the world, and has raised much awareness in what’s going on in China and raising the attention of Animal Rights Activists. Yes we are talking about the Dog Meat Festival that took place in Guanxi, China. Each year, thousands of tourists would flock to the unofficial festival to feast on the flesh of an estimated 10,000 dogs all slaughtered for different dishes to be served. Dogs are not the only animal to face such scrutiny where Rhino horns and more are forbidden. Are humans the next food hunt for those “food adventurers”? Oh dear… At least the government is doing something. Stop the cruelty!
