Doing A Little For Big Things If you are concerned about the future of hawker food, then perhaps this article is your solitude. According to http://www.straitstimes.com/lifestyle/food-wine/story/students-get-taste-hawker-life-20140622, a group of eight students from the ITE College West’s Asian Culinary Arts course have been thrown to experience a hawker’s life. From preparing, to cooking and finally to serving, these students would learn the difficulties of running a hawker stall and perhaps to appreciate the steps to creating our hawker culture. Maybe all chefs should go through that. Good thought.
