In order to proceed onto a research on Asian’s consumer behaviour to target on optimising diets for infant and maternal nutrition, Singapore and New Zealand will commit S$3.8 million for this joint food and nutrition research. Singapore’s A*STAR, agency for science, has seen a boom in Asia’s middle class together with the correlation in the increasing disposable incomes as well as hectic lifestyles. With such lifestyles, a balanced diet is necessary despite the lack of time and this research will help in providing us with the solution to maximizing nutrition.
