Korean Drama Craze

South Korean drama has played a pivotal role in influencing housewives and young fan girls’ lives especially the latest drama, “My love from the Star”. Other than gluing them tightly to their seats for episodes after episodes, the drama has also sparked a craze for “chimaek”, a portmanteau for chicken and beer in Korean! Korean restaurants have been blooming up in Singapore as well including the new Yoogane Korean restaurant at Bugis Junction. Talk about sob drama when you see the queue outside the restaurant.
