This could be the first that someone is seeking a legal ruling over the way icewine should taste. How did a subjective tasting kind of thing lead to such a big hoohah? It’s a long story that can be read here http://www.niagarathisweek.com/news-story/4593003-a-bitter-fight-over-the-way-icewine-should-taste/ but long story short, basically it was a labelling issue on whether the wine produced should be called an icewine. What does it take to classify a wine as icewine?
