It is a norm for us to wash the vegetables of any ingredients for that matter before preparation, but now you’ve been advised not to wash the chicken before cooking! Why?! According to the Food Standards Agency, United Kingdom, washing chickens before cooking can cause contamination to the kitchen with Campylobacter that is the cause for the most common type of food poisoning in UK that can lead to death or serious health problems.
