Bedazzled By The Star Gaining his first Michelin star only four months after opening his almost new restaurant in New York, Chef Matt Lambert is still in shock and is hanging tight to maintain his star. Chef Lambert was surprised when he found out the good news and he even cried like a baby for about five minutes (we quote). He believes that it is the fastest ever Michelin star awarded to a chef in America but keeps in mind that the challenge is to prevent the star from falling off. You wouldn’t know when they will be back to rate your restaurant again and if your star gets removed, you’ll be down to nothing.
