Asian Food Channel has finally unveiled the winner of its original production; “The Amazing Food Challenge: Fun in the Philippines”! The challenge in this production requires contestants to prepare three Filipino dishes using the skills and knowledge that they have each pick up during the 13-episode series and Hong Kong resident, Jun Wu, blew the judges away with his meticulously prepared sutukil (seafood prepared in three different ways) to be the first winner! Walking away with a grand prize of USD30,000 cash and a Philippines travel package, two other contestants Connie Chew (Malaysian image coach) and Timothy Ong (Singapore F&B consultant) also walked away with some cash and travel packages. A collaboration with Philippine Department of Tourism (DOT) and Tourism Promotions Board Philippines (TPB), we do look forward to their next production where cuisines of other countries will surface and be taught.
