Prost! To everyone who celebrated the Oktoberfest held once a year (or a few times in October), this is one place that Cuisine & Wine Asia has checked out and drank beers to! With the menu designed as a hat that you can wear in celebration of the occasion, it is a clever way of interacting with their guests in reminding them constantly of the food that they offer as well as the competition that they held on the day of the event. We have indulged in their S$168 Brotzeit Oktoberfest Platter that serves 4 to 6, featuring their famed pork knuckle, bierbeisser sausages, garlic pork sausages, pork chops and pork ribs, served with Sauerkraut and potato wedges on the side. This platter is good for friends and family gathering to enjoy with a pint of beer from Paulaner or more. They have also invited Anton and the funny guys for live performances who were really entertaining and brought the crowd to cheer and sing along. The highly anticipated challenges were brought to an end as well when champions emerge for the longest standing stein mugs server carrying 8 litres of beer, the first to build the tallest and most stable jagermeister tower in 90 seconds as well as the fastest 3 litres beer drinker. It was an exhilarating competition to watch as they battle it out for the grand prize of an iPad mini.
