This Dragon Boat Festival, Shangri-la will be presenting five new rice dumplings packed with healthy and wholesome ingredients to give the traditional festival a new refreshing taste. First on the list is the fragrant Black Garlic with Lotus Seed Paste Rice Dumpling is a blend of high- nutrient ingredients for both the old and young. The prized black garlic contains twice the amount of antioxidants as white garlic, while lotus seed is a rich source of nutrients like phosphorus, protein, zinc and iron. Next up is the Eight Treasure Vegetarian Rice Dumpling is packed with nourishing ingredients, such as white fungus, gingko nut and sweet corn. Dessert lovers will appreciate the new Bird’s Nest with Coconut Rice Dumpling and the Mixed Nuts with Yunnan Ham Rice Dumpling, each with ingredients that are proven to be beneficial to our body. Last but not least, the Pork Belly with Eel Rice Dumpling is a Chinese-Japanese fusion that provides an unexpected texture to the creation.
