Fined For Wasting Food?

A French restaurant in Switzerland has implemented a new scheme to prevent food wastage problems; imposing a fine on customers who do not finish everything on their plates. The restaurateur who took over the restaurant in April became conscious of the amount of food wastage during the lunchtime buffet, and decided to implement a 5 franc fine to food wasters.
