A New Hangout For City Dwellers

A New Hangout For City Dwellers Sick and tired of being in the city? When was the last time you paced your footsteps just to enjoy the scenery of nature? Behold, the new hangout for your soul to take a break. We were there last Christmas at the Crowne Plaza for a Christmas buffet but within months, the area has now become what they now call; REFLECTIFF. It is a reflection of the Crowne Plaza's lobby area but beyond the glass doors and full-length windows, is an alfresco gastrobar with luscious greenery and a menu to add on to a relaxing meal. Travellers are more than welcome to have their pit-stop at REFLECTIFF for a break before they set off to their flights, but locals, what better to stop by the airport for a quiet and enjoyable evening with friends and families? Wine and dine with tapas-inspired dishes, and a range of premium spirits.

Start off with the charcuterie plate while thinking of a main dish to order. "Spread" some Serrano ham, chroizo and salami over on slices of multi-grain bread. For something lighter afterwhich, try the smoke salmon grissini stick with smoked salmon wrapped delicately around grissini rolls and for more flavour, top it off with sour cream, pistachio crunch and drizzled with balsamic reduction. If you're a bacon lover, then try the streaky scallops that are plump, juicy, and sweet on its own, but wrapped around with tender juicy bacon and drizzled over with herb butter to bring out the flavour of the bacon, topped with croutons and served with mixed salad to make you feel less guilty. If you would like to have something more mouth filling, then dive down to the oysters kilpatrick where the top layer features crispy breadcrumps covering the oyster that is prepared with tangy tomato sauce, bacon rashers, onions and spinach and cream for a mouth full of flvaours. An interesting diversion from the usual fresh oyster and cheese baked oyster. For something to fill your stomach, select from a range of cuisines like Asian and Western to cater to your diet. An example would be the Yang Chow Fried Rice for a Chinese styled fried rice served with sunny side-up and crackers. To end off the meal or a drinking session, have something sweet from the dessert section. Sliced cakes available from the lobby lounge include the chocolate manjaru, New York cheesecake, passionfruit flan cake, and durian mousse cake. The cakes are subjected tdo rotation for a different flavour the next time you visit, but they are all well prepared by the pastry chef of Crowne Plaza. For drinks, try the cocktails/mocktails, like the Milky Road made with kiwi syrup, banana purée, and fresh milk. Or, try the Ruby Sunrise. Better yet, the liquid petite four where you'll be your own mixologist in creating something out of Grand Manier (orange flavoured liqueur), Kahlua (Jamaican coffee), Baileys, and Macchiato.

Join us now at Crowne Plaza CHangi Airport with promotions like A drink on us for a complimentary glass of house wine with an order of their light choices or Asian selectioned, and the $28 Pairing Promo.
