Head Down, Work Hard – A Sommelier’s Secret To Success Hristo Zisovski, the corporate beverage director of the Altamarea Group, oversees Ristorante Morini on Madison Avenue along with nine other establishments owned by Altamarea. At 16, he enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y., where he earned an associate degree in culinary education.  His first fine dining job was as assistant beverage director at the now defunct March restaurant.  Mr. Zisovski’s approach towards his career seems to be to forge ahead and take a challenge head-on. His advice?  "be patient and find a place that you like," he said. A second piece of advice? "Shut up and keep working."
