On last week’s ezine, and possibly on all news platform, it is said that we might be facing an issue as to seafood sustenance. Now, following the news on http://news.discovery.com/earth/weather-extreme-events/food-wars-could-rage-by-2050-140418.htm and plenty more, it seems as though we might be facing an overall food shortage and possibly “hunger” by 2050. This article features an interesting view on what could happen if that happens. Could we really be heading towards wartime era where we will have to feed on potatoes? What is the main cause of food shortage? Are we really big eaters or are we just wasting food in general. Could we do without buffet in order to rectify this issue? Is dieting one of the reasons why we are having food wastage as well where diners are served in bigger portions and in order to cut down on consumption, we simply take in what we want and leave the remaining to the garbage? This is really an alarming issue that will set us thinking.
