Pigeon àla Française with Sautéed Fava Bean

When you hit down the streets of Thailand, you would see all kind of creepy crawlies on the frying pan, with customers waiting to be served. This restaurant in Paris, Le Festin Nu, has brought this Thai culture to Europe. With grasshoppers, salted and sealed in packages, Le Festin Nu, well known for its croissants has also added some other crunchy insects like beetles and water scorpions to their menu as well. French Chef Elie Daviron has created a menu of grasshoppers on quail eggs and served water scorpions or beetles with potatoes.
