The best comfort food for Singaporeans and by comfort, I mean from the comfort of their homes while waiting for food to be delivered to their doorstep, will definitely be PIZZA! With the winemaker from Italy dropping by in Singapore to introduce his wines from Planeta, what better location to showcase the wines than at an Italian restaurant? Pizzeria Mozza might be loud for some, but without that ambience, how would you blend in to the culture of enjoying pizza. Certainly you do not have your pizzas at home with classical music playing on. Sure it is a restaurant with lots of reservations being made and you would be expecting it to be of a certain standard, but wouldn’t you want to enjoy yourselves and just let down your guard and enjoy pizzas with your hands and to have a loud conversation with your friends filled laughter? Well with the food served there, try Planeta’s wine. As explained by winemaker, Simone Di Domizio, the Cerasuolo Di Vittoria will go well with home-made pizza with different flavours especially those with meats and we enjoyed it with the Meat Lover’s Pizza. We have also tried the Maroccoli-Syrah, paired with the Prosciutto di Parma, as well as the La Segreta Bianco paired with the Calamari Al Forno with Fagioli.
