Does food presentation affect its taste? Food scientists at Monash University designed a short test to determine if the plate a dish is served on affects the taste of the dish. Needless to say, all aspects of the experiment remain constant except for the plate the dish is served on, and the tasters were told that the dishes were prepared by two different chefs, not knowing that only one of the two were used.
