Although we have yet to see the birth of a Michelin chef in the Philippines yet, we can look forward to the arrival of Michelin chef, Nicholas Isnard. Chef Isnard will be making a trip from France to visit Manila, bringing with him authentic French cuisine for guests at the Tivoli in Mandarin Oriental from 18-24 November. Chef Isnard went through a long journey of culinary training in France and worked his way as an apprentice from restaurants to restaurants. With the hard work he has put into this career, he became the Chef de Partie for Le Prieure, the one Michelin starred restaurant of Relais & Chateau. After several positions held by him, he has settled down as head chef for three Michelin starred restaurant, Auberge du Vieux Puits, leading to him opening up his own establishment, Auberge de la Charme á Prenois, with the accolades and experiences collated.
