What does it take to own a hawker stall and survive it through all odds? For young graduate hawker Tan Jun Yuan, it wasn’t all that easy as it seems. Despite the hard work put in to run a hawker stall, most are attracted to the returns if you are selling quality food at affordable prices. Tan was one of those who chose to run a Bak Kut Teh stall and his decision awed many of us, boosting our faith in the younger generation to keep the culture going on.
