More Places to Dine This National Day!

Singapore bicentennial is a week away and here are more places you can dine on that special public holiday.
1. Seoul Yummy

Seoul Yummy is best known for the army stew and Korean ramen. The so-myon are long thin ramen noodles that are now enjoyed at birthday celebrations and weddings as they represent longevity. Let you bellies rejoice in a bowl of slurping goodness at Seoul Yummy with the latest so-myun menu boasting five delicious options – pork belly, spicy chicken, beef or clams in spicy Kimchi or savoury doenjang soup.
For the first time in 11 years, Seoul Yummy will be also serving a Gochujang crab in celebration of Singapore 54th birthday. Featuring in-house Gojuchang and crisp fried soft-shell crabs, Seoul Yummy’s rendition gives a delicious Korean twist to the nation’s iconic chill crab! 2. Shake Shack

When Shake Shack was announced to open in Singapore at the new Jewel Changi Airport, Singaporeans went wild! The fine-casual burger stand saw queues every day since its inception, and is well-loved by Singaporeans and tourists alike!
This National Day, Shake Shack Singapore will be celebrating Singapore’s birthday with a slew of activities to excite the local community – giving away 1,000 lucky Shack fans an exclusive box of chocolates on 9 August. The box consists of three delicious chocolates: two chocolate squares and a merlion-shaped treat made with the Shack blend by Lemuel Chocolate, a 60% cacao chocolate blend created exclusively for the Singapore Shack. The Chocolate Squares are filled with tasty chocolate malt-infused ganache while the Singapore iconic Merlion-shaped chocolate is made with a flavourful Gula Melaka and desiccated coconut ganache.
3. Forest森

This National Day, Chef Sam Leong will be paying homage to traditional Singaporean home-cooked fare by inviting 76-year-old mother, Mdm Pit Yoke Eng, also known as ‘Mama Leong’ to share her treasured recipes – dishes that Chef Leong grew up with. For the entire month of August, guests can enjoy Mama Leong’s home-cooked recipes at the Forest森.
Dishes that guests can look forward to include ‘Samsui’ kampong chicken served with ginger and homemade special sauce, signature chicken rice ball, and steamed marble goby (soon hock) with preserved vegetables and shredded ginger.
