For those who want to watch the fireworks while dining, The Sampan is the destination to go. Inspired by the nation’s rich culinary origin, a four-course menu has been curated by Chef Ahmad to remind Singaporeans of iconic dishes generations have grown up with – all of this served against the stunning Singapore River backdrop.
Diners would be able to choose between two dishes per course. For the first course, diners get to choose between lemak chilli chicken kueh pie tee and tender rending chicken chwee kueh, each inspired by a Peranakan dish and Teochew dish respectively. Diners will also have the option of choosing duck satay lilit, prawn popiah, lamb shank tulang merah and curry fish head for the second and third course. For dessert, diners can choose between pulut hitam pudding and ang ku kueh. All of the dishes reflect The Sampan’s Asian culinary commitment.
Diners that dine on the night of 9th August will also be able to view the fireworks from Marina Bay Sands.
