A World Gourmet Gastro-Brunch to Remember
by WGS
@ 03 May 2019
The main week of World Gourmet Summit Activities concluded with a Gastro-brunch meant to celebrate the contributions of chefs, food, beverage, and hospitality partners of the year 2019.
Held in Tamarind Hill, a restaurant dedicated to serving the best of Thai and South-East Asian cuisine, guests were invited to dine at the restored colonial house, and got a taste of hors d'oeuvres made by partner restaurants and culinary institutions such as Allspice, Blue Lotus, Tamarind Hill and Morsels, as well as served drinks from beverage partners such as Arctic Blue Gin, Collesi Beers, and Wine Concierge.
Highlights include the U.S. Dairy Export Council showcasing the best of U.S. Cheeses to go along with different desserts and finger food such as breadsticks, fruit and nuts, as well as Thai inspired seafood hors d'oeuvres made with tuna from seafood partner John West.
Guests were also given the chance to sample products thata they may not have been exposed to, including Gin and Tonic made by Arctic Blue Gin, a popular brand from Finland made with blueberries and the best water from Finland, as well as Italian beers from brands like Collesi.
All in all, the World Gourmet Summit Gastro - Brunch was deemed a success by all who attended, and the World Gourmet Summit would like to thank all food, beverage and partner restaurants who have given support to the WGS this year.
