Food wastage is an issue around the world, but food shortage is an even bigger issue, especially for third world countries where food is a scarcity and in order to resolve that issue, food engineers at IIT Kharagpur have developed a cheap, ready to eat paste for malnourished children. The cause accounting for most deaths in third world country has to be malnutrition for lack of food and with this food paste packed with all the nutrients a malnourished child needs, children from such countries will never go hungry again.
