Loyalty To One’s Local Producer It is reported on http://www.marketing-interactive.com/local-brands-that-penetrated-the-global-market/ that research has shown 75 percent of Malaysians are loyal to locally produced brands, but can we say that for Singaporeans? It might be true to say that we have the mind set and perception that all things Singapore are not of standard and that Western products are always better. Perhaps we should learn from their spirit to have a little more faith in locally produced goods when we are also patronising some of these Malaysian brands, i.e. non-Singaporean brand.
