Youthful Endeavours Celebrated at the Singapore Chefs' Association Dinner and Dance 2018 The Singapore Chefs’ Association Dinner and Dance 2018, despite a few last minute changes to date and venue, proceeded without a hitch to continue their celebration of chefs and their recent achievements.

Themed, 'We Are One' and held at the Orchard Hotel Ballroom on the 16th of December, chefs celebrated the achievements of the teams that have recently returned to Singapore after competing in various culinary competitions, including the Expogast tournament in Luxembourg, which has led the team to defend their reputation as the three-time Culinary World Cup title holder.

 

At the dinner, Chef Eric Neo made a speech about the future of the Singapore Chef Association, emphasizing the importance on how the young chefs were the ones to look out for, as they would be leading the kitchens in the SIngapore FnB industry as well as organizations such as the Singapore Chefs' Association in the future.

The Expogast Team, along with the Alen Thong Golden Coffeepot Young Chef Challenge team that had returned the day before back to Singapore after their triumphant win in the competition in Abu Dhabi, were congratulated on their awards and achievements, as well as bringing glory to Singapore for culinary excellence.
