U.S. Cheese Wins Big At World Cheese Awards

U.S. Cheese gets its day again at the World Cheese Awards 2018 held in Bergen, Norway. Competing in an ernormous record-breaking pool of 3,500 cheeses from across six continents, the U.S. managed to win 89 medals, outranking ubiquitous cheese made from old industry favourites such as France and Italy in terms of total medal counts. Out of the 89 medals, 8 super gold, 25 gold, 24 silver, and 32 bronze were counted in a judgement that was largely based on the taste of the product, with the rind and body of the cheese, its colour, texture, and consistency taken into account.
