Books for Breakfast at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore
With an unwavering commitment to giving back to society, Mandarin Oriental, Singapore will be organising a Books for Breakfast donation drive on Saturday, 8 September 2018 from 8am to 10am. The first 200 guests who donate two children's books, suitable for ages 6 to 12, will enjoy a breakfast on-the-go set. The exchange will mirror a drive-through setting, where a dedicated booth will be prominently situated near the hotel's driveway premises that offers convenience for walk-ins and guests who wish to remain in the driver's seat. In addition, a one-day Read and Paint fest in collaboration with Asian Women Welfare Associate (AWWA) will be held on Saturday, 13 October at 10am to 12pm, where a day of fun, including an engaging storytelling session by local author Sim Ee Waun, awaits underprivileged families.
