Thai Beer & Food Paradise @ Chang Sensory Trails 2018

Thai Beer & Food Paradise @ Chang Sensory Trails 2018 On the 31st of August and 1st of September, Chang, Thailand's leading beer brand, will be returning to Singapore for its third edition with a hoard of home thai recipes and buckets and buckets of ice-cold beer. Having travelled to London and Los Angeles earlier this year, Chang Sensory Trails will land in Singapore at The Lawn @ Marina Bay, featuring eight of the best Thai restaurants in the country: Aroy Dee, Baan Ying, Bangkok Jam, Gin Khao, Little Elephant, Long Chim, Tamarind Hill, and Un-Yang-Kor-Dai.

From Tamarind Hill's kitchen, Chef Wanthana Nikosaen is preparing a range of dishes inspired from her flavours back home. Expect some deep-fried goodness in the form of her Taro fritters: deep-fried taro wedges coated in a savoury batter of flour, butter, eggs, onions and coriander.

Doesn't that sound like an excellent companion to a freshly opened beer? Well, that's not all - she's going to be whipping up delicious bowls of Deep-fried Prawns with Crispy Noodles as well, sealing the deal for that fried-food-beer-feast you've been craving for all along.

Gin Khao will be showcasing their signature Watermelon Fried Rice, a Thai classic that's been adapted to suit the local palate. Fragrant fried rice is topped with salted egg fish skin, floss, nuts and water melon cubes: all served in a watermelon husk.

Spam fries: they're a must-have beer companion with their greasy, sinful kick. Gin Khao's taken the bar snack classic to the next level with just the simple addition of a special spice powder - introcuing Tom Yum Spam Fries

Adding to the multisensory experience, the illustrations of Singaporean illustrator GalactikCaptain from local collective Band of Doodlers can be found on the facades of the food booths, on tabletops as well as the Chang Sensory Trails photo wall. Local bands, O.K Ready! and 53A will also be performing on 31 August and 1 September respectively to entertain visitors while they enjoy their Thai culinary favourites.
