For the very first time, the Michelin Guide has acknowledged and removed Le Suquet from its listings as per the restaurant’s request to renounce its stars in September last year (previously reported:

Claire Dorland-Clauzel, a member of the Michelin executive committee, said, "It seemed difficult to include a restaurant in the guide that has clearly indicated that it did not wish to appear and did not want to be part of the big family of Michelin stars”.
Le Suquet’s Chef Sebastien Bras cites the reason of no longer being able to deal with knowing that just one below-par dish could jeopardise his reputation. He wishes to start a new chapter for his restaurant that will be away from away from the competitive world of Michelin-star cooking.
Chef Bras's famed restaurant will not be featured in the 2018 edition of the Michelin guide set to be published next Monday.
