Deliveroo, Singapore’s most-loved food delivery service, is one of the newest partners for Singapore’s Health Promotion Board Healthier Choices initiative, giving locals access to healthier choices, delivered direct to their doors. When thinking of traditional of “take-away,” it’s easy to leap straight to pizzas and burgers. But in fact, Deliveroo has hundreds of healthier options from which to choose, all over the island. From spicy Tandoori Chicken Spinach wraps from The Green Chutney, to Barramundi and Asian Greens from Kitchen by Food Rebel, there’s never been an easier, more convenient way to eat well. Customers that want to ensure they are ordering a nutritious option can head over to the Deliveroo app and filter by selecting the ‘Healthier Choices’ options.
Every dish in this menu has been approved by the Health Promotion Board’s independent nutritionists; you’ll see the familiar red Healthier Choices
pyramid to let you know you’re making a great choice. Siddharth Shanker, General Manager of Deliveroo Singapore said, “Since launching in Singapore nearly two years ago we have witnessed a growing demand for a wider selection of healthy food options from our restaurant partners. Some of our best-selling items include poke bowls and meat alternative dishes such as veggie burgers, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon. That’s why we partnered with Singapore’s Health Promotion Board -- we want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to find
the healthy options they want on our platform.”
Singaporeans can also download HPB’s Healthy 365 app and scan the QR code on the receipt that comes with their Deliveroo order to earn Healthpoints. These Healthpoints can be redeemed for supermarket and F&B vouchers for discounts and freebies until 31st October 2017.
As part of the partnership with HPB, Deliveroo is working with their restaurant partners to optimise their menus and encourage them to create dishes that are health-conscious, vegetarian and vegan wherever possible. More choice equals more delicious options for consumers to choose from!
