A Collaborative Feast of Deliciousness: Friends of Mitzo (Morsels X Mitzo)

The next instalment to the dinner series after (Mitzo X Labyrinth) features Chef Nicky Ng and Chef Petrina Loh cooking up their interpretation of a particular ingredient course by course. Heads up: there are some curing and fermenting techniques used that truly enhance the dining experience where Chef Nicky’s Cantonese flavours are brought out and complemented with the equally surprising representations of each ingredient by Chef Petrina.
Start with the appetizers and the Summer Spritz (fizzy, floral cocktail combines prosecco, elderflower liquor, fresh berries and mint) where a tetrad of flavours leaves you hungry and anxiously awaiting the next course. Fish Medley is brought out and will have you wanting to scrape your plate for more while the Sakura Ginseng Chicken Two Ways calms you down and fills you up with wholesome nourishment. Paired with the Cinema Sour (popcorn infused vodka, lemon juice, homemade salted caramel syrup, egg white and lapsang souchong tincture), it’s set to downplay the bitterness of the ginseng. Prawn Vermicelli astonishes your nostrils with skillfully prepared wok-hei filled noodles. Duck Duo comes with Little Italy (Campari, sweet vermouth cherry liquor, red dates bitter aged for 1 month in an oak barrel). The cocktail matches the strong, rich flavours of the duck.
