California’s Vineyard see a Robust Bud Break

Following one of the wettest winters on record, California’s vineyards saw a robust bud break across the state with the first warm weather of spring. With a return to more normal growth patterns, harvest for sparkling wines could arrive as soon as late July or early August. Some of California’s less-known, up-and-coming wine regions are nestled right in the heart of the urban San Francisco Bay Area, while others are tucked away in the far north of the state.
