Royal Plaza on Scotts, Singapore, Gives Back To The Community Royal Plaza on Scotts, Singapore has partnered with the Humanitarian Organisation of Migration Economies (HOME), a society dedicated to the welfare of migrant and domestic workers in Singapore, to make a difference in the community in a CSR initiative titled Bond To Give.

This initiative will see 50 Bangladeshi workers being brought to Royal Plaza on Scotts on 12 June 2017 for iftar (break fast). In addition to breaking fast, the hotel will also arrange for a surau for prayers as well as give out daily necessities and food items to these migrant workers.

Mr Patrick Fiat, General Manager and Chief Experience Officer of Royal Plaza on Scotts, has said that this initiative is the hotel’s way of recognizing and appreciating unsung heroes who have contributed to the local community and economy as they have left their loved ones behind to seek opportunities in a foreign land to better provide for their families. He added that this initiative will help migrant workers experience a part of their culture in the Singapore context and deepen their connection with the Singaporean community.
