20 years have passed, since the inception of this grand food festival and with its 21st year, World Gourmet Summit (WGS) is set to fill your bellies with food from all around the world. Having brought many Michelin-stars over during those 20 years, the WGS team was inspired by a conversation with a Ukrainian ambassador who spoke of Napoleon Bonaparte’s accurate insight about how food unites people of all nationalities. And this is how the theme – United Nations Gastronomic Assembly came about. They’ve got a list of exotic cuisines that Singapore has yet to familiarise with – including Hungarian, Ukrainian, Peruvian, Cambodian and Laotian to name a few.
