Bringing to Light Talented Chefs from All Over the World Global Young Chef Challenge 2017
For the first time Lyon Sirha Fair has hosted the Global Young Chefs Challenge Finals.

After 2 years of intense competition around the world, 7 semi-finals putting against each other the skills of 21 young chefs from 21 countries, the Global Young Chef Challenge Final has finally take place during Sirha Lyon 2017 on the 25th of January 2017.

The competition will saw the 8 finalists battling for the Hans Bueschkens Trophy where they had to prepare and present a 3 course menu of 6 servings in the required time frame of 3 hours.

We would like to congratulate all the winners, including our very own – Lynnette Tay, Chef De Partie of Curate in Resorts World Sentosa, for finishing in third place!
 
 
Bocuse d’Or 2017
After a grueling 5 hours and 35 minutes of tests, the winner of the prestigious Bocuse d’Or has been announced! Coming in victorious, is Team USA, followed by Team Norway and Iceland.
 
Over a period of 18 months the competition involved 62 countries and five continents through a series of national selection rounds and continental events celebrating the diversity in culinary heritages and highlighting the creative richness of cuisine in general.
 
A massive congratulations to all the winners and in the words of Lea Linster, the first female chef to win the Bocuse d'Or, “Everyone’s a winner!”
