Gatehouse Publishing Proudly Presents SAKE: The History, Stories and Craft of Japan's Artisanal Breweries

Portrait photographer Danny Santos II is widely-known for his street portraiture photography, where he asks his subjects not to smile. He believes that smiles are facades that hide the true feelings of a person. From 14th January to 10th March 2014, he moves his photography off the streets and into the confines of the TCC (The Connoisseur Concerto) outlet at 51 Circular Road, where a small photographic studio is being set up. The photographic exhibition is called “don’t smile!” after his style of portraiture photography. Connoisseurs Card members and the more than 25,000 fans of Danny on Facebook are invited to come and have their portraits taken, 250 of which will be displayed as black and white collages on the walls of the outlet.
