Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel Introduces Township Farm Tour Experience

Guests can visit one of South Africa’s most successful and entrepreneurial township farms in Khayelitsha – the Abalimi Bezekhaya’s vegetable garden. Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel has been actively contributing to the Harvest of Hope initiative – a project that operates as an extension of the services offered by Abalimi Bezekhaya – for the past four years, buying vegetables, herbs and salads.
The tour costs ZAR1,500 (SGD 152) per person for two guests and ZAR875 (SGD 88) per person for a group of four which includes a donation of compost or seedlings for the Moya we Khaya garden and a farm fresh salad for lunch.
