Barrio, the Spanish term for ‘neighbourhood’, arrives right in the happening residential-retail hood of Vivocity bringing to you a table’s worth of fresh mex cuisine. Expect a unique and hearty meal of Mex-American cuisine that marries the ancient Mayan and Aztec cultures together with the modern flavours and spices from Baja California and Caribbean.
Barrio By Mex-Out marks the opening of this new outlet with new items being introduced to the menu. Have your fill of churros that are dusted with chocolate powder, cinnamon and sugar and served with a generous and satisfying thick chocolate sauce. Be spoilt for choice with the breakfast menu that will carry a delectable selection including a smashed avocado on toast, a breakfast burrito filled with a fried egg, some bacon, tomato rice and beans…. and don’t forget to order some churros that are served with yogurt and fruits!
Barrio By Mex-Out also offers itself as the perfect place for a chillax session be it day or night thanks to its highlight worthy collaboration with Sauza Tequila, a Mexican distillery. The result is a margarita experience like no other as it is made with 100% agave tequila and comes in new flavors such as Mango in slushies.
The brand, whose first outlet was launched at 313@Somerset, puts emphasis on using the freshest quality of ingredients in their food. Guacamole and pico de gallo, for instance, are signatures condiments used and are made in house on a daily basis.
