Iron Event Will Raise Funds for Chef Dan Tracy who is Battling Lou Gehrig’s Disease

The Iron Event on 9th September 2013 at Pearl Street Grille is a competition among top chefs in Buffalo cum a fundraiser for the ALS Association. But above all, the real reason why this group of top chefs is taking part in the event is because of Dan Tracy, a fellow chef whose career fell at the mercy of a progressive neurodegenerative disease Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) at just 32 years old. There are chefs taking part in the event who do not know Dan Tracy personally but their heartwarming move is a result of the camaraderie spirit of the close-knitted community among chefs.
